The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the elected body of the church called to work alongside the Rector and staff team in both the day-to-day running of the church and the working out of its broader vision. The PCC meets six times a year to pray together and collectively seek to bring to life the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ, proactively addressing any issues facing the church and stewarding the resourses we are blessed with through the sacrifice of the current congregation and those who went before us.
The PCC acts as the focal point for Ministry Partnership Teams (MPT's) that focus on different areas of the work carried out by our church and groups that offer expertise or project management in particular fields.
All of the congregation are asked to reflect on whether they feel called to a role on the PCC and new members are voted on each year at the Annual Parochial Church Council. This is the meeting where the church community is invited to receive reports on the ministry and mission of the church, and to thank God for his faithfulness in the preceding year.
